Faramarz started drawing at a young age, but it wasn’t until 2020—during the height of the COVID pandemic, political and social unrest, and growing attacks on science—that his drawings took shape. With a background in microbiology, he began creating works that reflect the political and social impact of misinformation and the erosion of truth.
